29)Do you often think about death? - I think about what happens AFTER death

30)Is this the last question? ......no, seriously

31) Are you sick of tag-tests? - not really, but I'm not tagging anyone because I know they might not like it

I love you all and want you to be safe! Please read this and pass on the info to your loved ones and friends.
Through a Rapist's Eyes (No Joke)
>
>
> Please pass it along and share it with your children/friends/family.
>
> A group of rapists and date rapists in prison were
> interviewed on what they look for in a potential
> victim and here are some interesting facts:
>
> 1) The first thing men look for in a potential victim
> is hairstyle. They are most likely to go after a woman
> with a ponytail, bun, braid or other hairstyle that
> can easily be grabbed They are also likely to go after
> a woman with long hair . Women with short hair are not
> common targets.
>
> 2) The second thing men look for is clothing. They
> will look for women who's clothing is easy to remove
> quickly . Many of them carry scissors around
> specifically to cut clothing.
>
> 3) They also look for women on their cell phone
> ,searching through their purse, or doing other
> activities while walking because they are off-guard
> and can be easily overpowered.
>
> 4) Men are most likely to attack & rape in the early
> morning, between 5: 00a.m. And 8:30a.m.
>
> 5) The number one place women are abducted
> from/attacked is grocery store parking lots . Number
> two: is office parking lots/garages. Number three: is
> public restrooms.
>
> 6) The thing about these men is that they are looking
> to grab a woman and quickly move her to another
> location where they don't have to worry about getting
> caught.
>
> 7) Only 2% said they carried weapons because rape
> carries a 3-5 year sentence but rape with a weapon is
> 15-20 years.
>
> 8) If you put up any kind of a fight at all, they get
> discouraged because it only takes a minute or two for
> them to realize that going after you isn't worth it
> because it will be time-consuming.
>
> 9) These men said they would not pick on women who
> have umbrellas , or other similar objects that can be
> used from a distance, in their hands.
>
> Keys are not a deterrent because you have to get
> really close to the attacker to use them as a weapon.
> So, the idea is to convince these guys you're not
> worth it.
>
> 10) Several defense mechanisms he taught us are: If
> someone is following behind you on a street or in a
> garage or with you in an elevator or stairwell, look
> them in the face and ask them a question , like what
> time is it, or make general small talk: 'I can't
> believe it is so cold out here,' 'we're in for a bad
> winter.' Now you've seen their face and could identify
> them in a line-up; you lose appeal as a target.
>
>
>
> 11) If someone is coming toward you , hold out your
> hands in front of you and yell STOP or STAY BACK !
> Most of the rapists this man talked to said they'd
> leave a woman alone if she yelled or showed that she
> would not be afraid to fight back .
> Again, they are looking for an EASY target.
>
> 12) If you carry pepper spray (this instructor was a
> huge advocate of it and carries it with him wherever
> he goes) , yell I HAVE PEPPER SPRAY and holding it out
> will be a deterrent.
>
> 13) If someone grabs you , you can't beat them with
> strength but you can by outsmarting them If you are
> grabbed around the waist from behind, pinch the
> attacker either under the
> Arm (between the elbow and armpit) OR in the
> upperinner thigh VERY VERY HARD . One woman in a class
> this guy taught told him she used the underarm pinch
> on a guy who was trying to date rape her and was so
> upset she broke through the skin and tore out muscle
> strands - the guy needed stitches. Try pinching
> yourself in those places as hard as you can stand it -
> it hurts.
>
> 14) After the initial hit, always GO for the GROIN . I
> know from a particularly unfortunate experience that
> if you slap a guy's parts it is extremely painful .
> You might think that you'll anger the guy and make him
> want to hurt you more, but the thing these rapists
> told our instructor is that they want a woman who will
> not cause a lot of trouble. Start causing trouble and
> he's out of there.
>
> 15) When the guy puts his hands up to you , grab his
> first two fingers and bend them back as far as
> possible with as much pressure pushing down on them as
> possible . The instructor did it to me without using
> much pressure, and I ended up on my knees and both
> knuckles cracked audibly.
>
> 16) Of course the things we always hear still
> apply.Always be aware of your surroundings , take
> someone with you if you can and if you see any odd
> behavior, don't dismiss it, go with your instincts!!!
>
> You may feel a little silly at the time, but you'd
> feel much worse if the guy really was trouble.
>
> 1 Tip from Tae Kwon Do : The elbow is the strongest
> point on your body. If you are close enough to use it,
> do!
>
> 2. Learned this from a tourist guide in New Orleans .
> If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT
> HAND IT TO HIM . Toss it away from you....chances are
> that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse
> than you, and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN
> LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
>
> 3.. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car,
> kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out
> the hole and start waving like crazy. The driver won't
> see you, but everybody else will. This has saved
> lives.
>
> 4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after
> shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing
> their checkbook, or making a list, etc.) DON'T DO
> THIS! The predator will be watching you, and this is
> the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the
> passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you
> where to go. AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR, LOCK
> THE DOORS AND LEAVE.
> a. If someone is in the car with a gun to your head DO
> NOT DRIVE OFF, repeat: DO NOT DRIVE OFF! Instead gun
> the engine and speed into anything, wrecking the car.
> Your Air Bag will save you. If the person is in the
> back seat they will get the worst of it. As soon as
> the car crashes bail out and run. It is better than
> having them find your body in a remote location.
>
> 5 A few notes about getting into your car in a parking
> lot or parking garage:
>
> A.) Be aware: look around you, look into your car, at
> the passenger side floor, and in the back seat.
>
> B.) If you are parked next to a big van, enter your
> car from the passenger door. Most serial killers
> attack their victims by pulling them into their vans
> while the women are attempting to get into their cars.
>
>
> C.) Look at the car parked on the driver's side of
> your vehicle, and the passenger side. If a male is
> sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may
> want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a
> guard/policeman to walk you back out.
>
> IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better
> paranoid than dead.)
>
> 6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs.
> (Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the
> perfect crime spot. This is especially true at NIGHT!)
>
>
> 7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his
> control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a
> running target) 4 in 100 times. And even then, it most
> likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN, preferably in a
> zigzag pattern!
>
> 8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic:
> STOP! It may get you raped or killed. Ted Bundy, the
> serial killer, was a good-looking, well-educated man,
> who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting
> women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often
> asked 'for help' into his vehicle or with his vehicle,
> which is when he abducted his next victim.
>
> 9. Another Safety Point: Someone just told me that her
> friend heard a crying baby on her porch the night
> before last, and she called the police because it was
> late and she thought it was weird. The police told her
> 'Whatever you do, DO NOT open the door.'
>
>
>
> The lady then said that it sounded like the baby had
> crawled near a window, and she was worried that it
> would crawl to the street and get run over. The
> policeman said, 'We already have a unit on the way,
> whatever you do, DO NOT open the door.' He told her
> that they think a serial killer has a baby's cry
> recorded and uses it to coax women out of their homes
> thinking that someone dropped off a baby. He said they
> have not verified it , but have had several calls by
> women saying that they hear baby's cries outside their
> doors when they're home alone at night.
>
> Please pass this on and DO NOT open the door for a
> crying baby ----This
> should be taken seriously because the Crying Baby
> theory was mentioned on America's Most Wanted this
> past Saturday when they profiled the serial killer in
> Louisiana .
>
> I'd like you to forward this to all the women you
> know. It may save a life. A candle is not dimmed by
> lighting another candle. I was going to send this to
> the ladies only, but guys, if you love your mothers,
> wives, sisters, daughters, etc., you may want to pass
> it onto them, as well.

big enough for us to go through it.” Pete stared at the sky through the hole in

the ceiling deep in thought. “But we’re on the fifth floor. We can’t just

jump.”

    “Lets

get on the roof.” Amy pushed an armchair under the hole and got on top of it.

“We’ll see what we can do. I need some help.” Gerard lifted her higher and she

climbed out. Careful not to sleep and

fall she stepped out on the roof. She walked closer to the edge unsteady on her

legs. One of the roof-tiles slid under Amy’s foot and she fell. She dragged

down to the very edge but managed to stop in time. “That was close.” she said

and looked down. “It’s too high to jump!” she yelled.

    “Is

there anything we could climb to use to get down?” Christina said from inside

the house.

   “Not

really.” Amy looked around herself but didn’t see anything that could help

them. “Just this really high tree but it’s almost 4 meters away. There’s no way

we could reach it.”

    “Hold

on, I’m coming!” Gerard’s head showed from the hole and he climbed out with

someone’s help. “Amy! You’ll fall!” he said when he saw how close to the edge

she was, “Take my hand!” he outstretched to her and she grabbed it. He pulled

her away from the danger and hugged her. “You’re right. We can’t escape from

here.” he was disappointed, it was his last hope. His eyes shifted to the tree

she had mentioned and he sighed deeply. It really was too far.

     “At

least we can see the blue sky.” she gazed at it. The sky was the one thing they

all had began missing. Not even a single cloud blocked the sun leaving the blue

color as pure and as calm as a frozen lake.

    “It’s

beautiful just like you.” he smiled and she melted into that smile. “Lets go

back inside.” they jumped in the hole and landed with thud in the middle of the

room where everyone was waiting to hear what they had seen.

“Well?” Pete asked. They hadn’t heard their conversation and hope still

filled them.

“Nothing.” Gerard answered and they sighed and frowned.

“Now what?” Mikey asked braking the silence

that had fallen upon them.

    “We

could try and figure out what the hell is this place and why are we dying one

by one.” Christina sat on the floor Indian style and rested her chin on her

hand. She started thinking and so did the others. “Everything seems to have something

to do with revenge.” she remarked after awhile.

“You’re right!” Mikey’s head shot as he was starting to make the

connections. “I think we’re being… punished? I have no idea what for though, we

haven’t done anything wrong.” he lied a bit there. He knew he wasn’t as

innocent as the others thought, he was just good at keeping his mouth shut. ‘Some

things were better left unsaid.’ were the last words his mistake said.

    “That

makes sense.” Pete bit his lip hard enough to make it bleed. “Then we’re all

goners.” saying it out loud made it seem a hundredth times worse than it was in

his head.

    “What

do you mean?” Amy asked, her voice shaking.

“No-one is perfect. I bet all of us have done things we’re not proud of.

The only question left is who’s next?” they avoided each others eyes not

knowing what to say.

    “Um,

now that we’ve got that straight maybe we should try to find a way out again?”

Christina got nods from everyone, “Okay, it’d be better if everyone had to

check one floor of the house. I’ll take the third.” three was her lucky number

and it worked every time. She wasn’t going to take chances right now. Luck was

all she had. Pete took the first floor, Mikey got the fifth, Gerard called the

second and Amy was left with the forth.

    The

fifth floor had a wide hall that was a very dark place that smelled of mould

mixed with naphthalene and cigarette smoke. The carped had cigarette burn holes

and various stains with an unknown origin. Green wallpapers decorated the walls

but they seemed to be ancient and were peeling off the walls at places. Many

massive cupboards in dark colors lined the sides of the hall and took a lot of

the space. Dust, old pictures and boxes of all sizes hid away their surface.

    Mikey

walked slowly, careful not to trip on something in the dark. He couldn’t see

more that the outlines of the furniture and barely the colors of things.

“Michael…” a woman’s soft whisper filled the silence and made Mikey’s

hairs stand up. “Michael…” the voice was so gentle, almost like singing a

lullaby to a scared child. “Come with me Michael…” he was sweating and his

heartbeat became so loud he felt he couldn’t hear anything else.

“WHO ARE YOU?!” he was screaming at the top

of his lungs and his throat hurt like hell. “SHOW YOURSELF!!!” he looked all

around himself desperately looking for the girl calling him.

    “They

don’t love you, they don’t need you Michael…” he could even feel the cold

breath on his neck. “Come with me Michael…” he fell to his knees plugging his

ears. The words were invading his mind, feeling him with doubt, anger, fear,

loneliness and so many other emotions at once.

“YOU’RE A LIAR!!!” he yelled shutting his eyes to the point it hurt.

“Michael…You will die Michael…” he hit his head in the floor trying to

get the voice out of his head. “I can save you Michael…” his forehead was

bleeding staining his slender face.

    “WHAT…

DO… YOU… WANT… FROM… ME?!!” he hit the wall next to him, a blow between words.

His knuckles bled. “Stop…” his screaming was now a faint whisper. That was all

his emotionally exhausted body could master.

“Michael!” the faint whisper was getting louder and seemed so much closer.

Mikey felt nauseous. His eyes rolled to the back of his head and he crashed

down on the floor with a thud.

Before he could completely slip into the

darkness he opened his eyes and saw a transparent vision of a woman as pale as

a ghost wearing a nightgown. She was walking and inch above the ground and her

every move was very slow. As she neared Mikey she made the air colder and it

became even harder to breathe. With one final sharp movement she went through

him causing the most horrible feeling a human could suffer. Someone was

screaming far away from him. It sounded so much like him but he didn’t feel

like he was producing it. The force pushed him into a cupboard and a box fell

down opening. Suddenly, music started playing; it was a music box. The relaxing

melody drained what was left of Mikey’s energy and he fainted.

    Amy

paced the forth floor’s corridor slowly. The wood was creaking under her feet

and that sound was all you could hear. It was dark so she traced the walls in

hopes to find a light switch which she did. When she could finally see properly

she took a good look around. She noticed her fingers were now dirty after

tracing the wall. The house was obviously vacant for a long time.

    Amy

stopped at a door on her right and thought for a second. Should she open it?

With everything that happened in the past few days anything could be there. She

turned the doorknob and pushed it lightly. The room that came into view was

truly beautiful. The walls were a deep color of red; an idea that once popped

into Amy’s head. She asked her parents to paint her room red but they never let

her. A few amazing paintings decorated them. The massive black wardrobe next to

the door had a picture of a forest craved on it and handles were silver. Amy

gazed at it in awe for a while. Then she opened it to find a single short

backless red dress hanging, waiting, begging for her to put it on. She touched

it and was surprise at how soft and light it was. She took it and went over to

a mirror she just noticed was at the other end of the room. She hesitated for a

bit but then quickly got undressed and put it on. It made her look even more

beautiful, if that is possible. She spun around and smiled. Then she finally

saw the big bed with many pillows right behind her. How could she miss it? It

was perfectly made and had a note on the red duvet.

    She

sat on it and lifted the note to read it.

                                             “A

friend in need, is a friend indeed.

Tonight you’ll lose what’s sweet.

But angel don’t you cry!

I promise, you won’t die”

    She

dropped the note in sheer terror and gasped. And than it was like she couldn’t

breathe. The dress was getting tighter and tighter, suffocating her. She fell

on the bed and started trying to remove the deadly piece of clothing. Her lungs

were burning for air. The more she moved, the more she sank into the bed. It

was swallowing her. In mere seconds she was completely gone.

Christina slid down the wall and hugged her knees to warm herself up a

little. She was on the third floor. Alone. And it scared the shit out of her.

She took out her cigarettes and her lighter. She had quit them five months ago

with much effort. Gerard was supposed to quit with her but he caved in. She

carried them for desperate times and now sure was a desperate time.

    She

lit up one and took a drag. The toxic smoke invaded her lungs and it felt so

good. She faintly smiled and relaxed. She rubbed her eyes and groaned. How did

she get in this nightmare? And more important, how would she get out?

Remembering what she was there for, she got up and opened the first door she

saw. Nothing. The room was empty. A part of her felt relieved it wasn’t

something horrible and another part of her was disappointed to see there was

nothing that could help her in there.

    She

moved on to the next rooms. All of them hat nothing inside and looked so much

the same. Every time she hoped the next room would be different, that it would

hold the answer to the escape, but the disappointment just repeated itself

again and again. It seemed like there were so many rooms and the more she

searched the more they got. She didn’t remember the house being that big.

    At

maybe the hundredth chipped old door she ran out of cigarettes. She threw the

box away and sighed. She should have saved some for later. She looked at how

much of the hall was left to check.

“What?” the hall was so long she couldn’t see the end of it. It wasn’t

like that when she started. She was sure she saw the end of it before opening

the first door. She looked behind her; same thing. She walked by all those

room, fastening her pace with each step until she was running. “Hello?” no

response. She checked the rooms on her way as fast as she could leaving them

open. She came to a place where the hall separated in two ways. “Always turn

right.” She spoke under her breath to herself. The turn was fallowed by many

more and she always went right.

    After

running for ten minutes she realized she was lost. She was tired, hungry and

hell she needed a cigarette. Her phone didn’t work. It was the worst case

scenario.

    Then

the ground shook beneath her feet. She lost balance and fell down twisting her

wrist. The ground shook again and something made out of glass broke. She didn’t

remember seeing glass anywhere. The thing that made the small earthquakes was

getting closer at a scaring speed. Christina got up ignoring the pain in her

wrist and ran. She didn’t care exactly where she was going, she just wanted

away from the thing. It was after her. She could tell it was one of those

monsters you check under your bed for. She opened the first door that she had

time to stop at and slid in to hide. She was breathing heavily and her heart

was racing.

    There

was a mess on the second floor. You couldn’t see the color of the carpet from

paper sheets scattered everywhere. They were mainly sketches of people on the

streets or meaningless words. He wondered why when they checked the house the

first time they got there they found bedrooms and now it seemed like there was

nothing besides the living room on the last floor and some useful rooms

downstairs. By now he had realized the house was changing all the time so it

wasn’t so surprising.

    He

picked up some of the sketches and went through them realizing they were all so

familiar to him. He searched at the back of his head to try to remember where

he had seen them but failed. Giving up, he threw them down and continued he’s

way. All the rooms seemed normal to him. Most of them were just ordinary

bedrooms while others were libraries, bathrooms or closets. There were many

twists and turns in the hallway and after time it gave him the feeling he was

walking around in circles.

    He

opened another door leading to a library. He chose to enter for a difference

and the smell of old books hit him. It was a soothing smell he loved as a

child. He inhaled deeply went between the shelves of books. They were pretty

well presumed. He chose one randomly and opened it.

    “The

story of Lily Maintree” was on the on the first page of it. He Sat down on the

floor and started reading. It was about a girl and her life, about how she

never really got any attention and went to extremes to get. Gerard couldn’t

stop reading until he came to the part where she killed her boyfriend and ended

up in a house that made her go mental and kill herself. When it ended Gerard

suddenly got back to reality and noticed he was on page 742. How did he get so

far? And how long had he been in there? He checked his watch. Only ten minutes

had passed since he separated from the others.

     “No

way!” he stared at his watch and thought and thought and thought. What was

going on? It was maybe the hundredth time that question plagued his mind in the

past couple of days but it still was unanswered. He got an idea and quickly

stood up. He noticed the books were carefully placed in alphabetic order and

went over to “M”.

    He

finally found what he dreaded; “The story of <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Mikey Way</st1:address></st1:Street>”. Eager to find out what it

contained, he opened it. It started off with some ordinary days and became more

complex further on. There was this particular chapter in which you could see

how he got involved with the wrong friends and started doing drugs. He pulled

some girl into it all. Apparently, she was a very promising student and a good

person. At the end of the chapter the girl died from overdose and Mikey blamed

it on himself. After that he quit but still couldn’t forgive himself.

    It

was all too overwhelming. So many questions popped out. Why didn’t Mikey tell

his own brother for all that? And how could he not notice? Suddenly, Gerard

felt as if he had never actually been in his brother’s life. He always thought

they were the closest people on earth. He wondered if it was true. His mind

went blank. Every sound in the room was ten times stronger and there was an

echo. He heard the clock ticking and it brought him back to reality. It was

like a rollercoaster.

    He

shook a little and gazed at the clock. Half an hour had passed. He got up and

found all of his friends’ books and placed them on a coffee table in the

corner. Even with the speed the time was going with when he read it was still

too much to read at once and way too heavy to carry at once. Maybe he could

read just the endings of some?

    He

picked up the book on top of the pile and skipped to the last page. It turned

out to be Pete’s life story. He was in the kitchen.

“Shit!” Gerard was terrified from what he read next. He jumped to his

feet and ran.

*before Gerard even went inside the library*

    Why

was it so important to search the house? And especially the first floor. Pete

had seen enough to know that they were all goners. It wasn’t even worth wasting

their time. But his time wasn’t really worth anything without his best friends.

Of course he had the ones that were still alive but the loss was far too much

for him to handle.

    He

didn’t pay much attention to drawers he going through. Thoughts of his

childhood with Patrick occupied his mind. His friend’s seventh birthday when he

got his first hat and swore he wouldn’t take it off. That time they broke the

neighbor’s window with a batman action figure that was supposed to fly to the

tree and save a cat. The memory flow was suddenly interrupted by the bottle of

Vodka that caught Pete’s eye. It was just what he needed. He took it eagerly

and unscrew the cap.

    The

minute the alcohol hit his lips and burned his throat he felt better. Or worse.

He couldn’t tell. He made his way to the kitchen and sat on the table. For the

first time he was alone in the house. He could think without distraction. The

events repeated themselves in his mind while he drank. He realized he had no

luck whatsoever. Nothing worked out the way he wanted it.

    He

got up and went up the stairs. He reached the fifth floor and stood under the

hole in the ceiling. After taking another sip he got the courage to climb to

the roof. Walking over the edge he felt empty. They didn’t care for him. He

lost the one who did. He figured out he didn’t have to wait for death to come

to him in the worst way imaginable. He could do it himself.

    He

gazed upon the world in front of him. What a beautiful and lonely place it was.

Taking in the last moments of his life as every singly detail sank in his mind

and stained his memory forever he prepared to take the last step.

“Pete, DON’T!!!” Gerard’s voice startled him and he turned his head

sharply to see him. He slipped on something fell backwards ever the edge.

     He

could hear his friend screaming in panic as he was falling. It was the longest

fall he had ever had. It stretched on forever and he thought about everything

he had done till this very last day of his life. Nothing special came to mind

but the mere fact someone -even if it was only Gerard- cared enough to try to

stop him from taking away his own life. It was now too late but it gave him

comfort.

    And

then it happened. His body hit the ground and it all went black. It was over

big enough for us to go through it.” Pete stared at the sky through the hole in

the ceiling deep in thought.

    “Is

there anything we could climb use to get down?” Christina said from inside the

house.

    “Not

really.” Amy looked around herself but didn’t see anything that could help

them.

    “Hold

on, I’m coming!” Gerard’s head showed from the hole and climbed out with

someone’s help. “Amy! You’ll fall!” he said when he saw how close to the edge

she was, “Take my hand!” he outstretched to her and she grabbed it. He pulled

her away from the danger and hugged her. “You’re right. We can’t escape from

here.” he was disappointed, it was his last hope.

    “At

least we can see the blue sky.” she gazed at it. The sky was the one thing they

all had began missing.

    “It’s

beautiful just like you.” he smiled and she melt into that smile. “Lets go back

inside.” they jumped in the hole and landed with thud in the middle of the

room.

“Well?” Pete asked. They hadn’t heard their conversation.

“Nothing.” Gerard answered and everyone sighed and frowned.

    “Now

what?” Mikey asked.

     “We

could try and figure out what the hell is this place and why are we dying one

by one.” Christina sat on the floor Indian style and rested her chin on her

hand. She started thinking and so did the others. “Everything seems to have something

to do with revenge.” she remarked.

Some things were better left unsaid.

    “That

makes sense.” Pete bit his lip hard enough to make it bleed. “Then we’re all

goners.”

    “What

do you mean?” Amy asked, her voice shaking.

“Michael…” a woman’s soft whisper filled the silence and made Mikey’s hairs

stand up. “Michael…” the voice was so gentle, almost like singing a lullaby to

a scared child. “Come with me Michael…” he was sweating and his heartbeat

became so loud he felt he couldn’t hear anything else.

    “WHO

ARE YOU?!” he was screaming at the top of his lungs and his throat hurt like

hell. “SHOW YOURSELF!!!” he looked all around himself desperately looking for

the girl calling him.

  “They

don’t love you, they don’t need you Michael…” he could even feel the cold

breath on his neck.

    “Michael…You

will die Michael…” he hit his head in the floor trying to get the voice out of

his head. “I can save you Michael…” his forehead was bleeding staining his

slender face.

    “WHAT…

DO… YOU… WANT… FROM… ME?!!” he hit the wall next to him, a blow between words.

His knuckles bled. “Stop…” his screaming was now a faint whisper. That was all

his emotionally exhausted body could master.

“Michael!” the faint whisper was getting louder and seemed so much

closer. Mikey felt nauseous. His eyes rolled to the back of his head and he

crashed down on the floor with a thud.

****************

this part may be changed

still in her pj’s and a smile on her face.

“Aren’t you happy this morning?” Amy eyed her mischievously and took a

bite of her toast.

    “I

have my reasons.” she winked at her and turned to Mikey who was sipping his

coffee. When he saw her glance he choked on the hot liquid and blushed.

    Pete

didn’t take part in the laugh they shared. He just stood there, staring at his

cereal. He hadn’t touched it. He wasn’t hungry at all. He kept staring at his

food thinking about Patrick. How could they laugh at a moment like this? He

hadn’t spoken since yesterday. The photo that was sent to Jepha was imprinted

on his mind. He was dead. He lied somewhere on the cold ground or maybe Heyley

had called the cops and he was at a morgue? If that was true he was probably

being dissected by some random doctor to see if it held evidence of who the

killer was. But whoever did, wouldn’t let them do that. He doubted it was even

a person. He doubted everything.

    “We

should save food.” Gerard took him out of his little world of misery and

brought him back to reality. “We don’t have that much.”

    “But

I’m hungry!” Mikey wined. “I missed dinner yesterday. We all did.”

    “We

have to save food.” his brother repeated firmly. It was in his nature to be

stubborn.

  “Oh

fine.” he gave up and looked away in frustration. “So what, Gerard, now we have

to stop eating?”

   “No.

Just eat less.” he picked up the empty bow before him and put it in the sink

with the intention of washing it later. His arm hurt pretty bad but he didn’t

say it. “We have to explore the tunnel.”

“Since when are you in charge?” Jepha had had enough of his bossiness

and was prepared to argue with him.

“Whoever thinks we should explore the tunnel raise their hand, please!”

Gerard spoke and raised his hand in the air. Everyone did the same and when

Jepha saw he was alone joined them. “Good. Now I don’t think it should be

dangerous but we’re not taking any chances. The girls will stay here and the

guys will go to the lake. We’ll find out if there’s fish there. If there is

fish there, we can fish and that should solve the food problem.”

    “Hey!

We’re not that helpless!” Emmy said. “This is 21st century, dumbass.

We can defend ourselves.”

    “Then

you can search the house for a way out.” Gerard had nothing more than respect

for women but no wasn’t the right time. He wanted to yell at all of them but

calmed himself down. He had to be strong. “I want all of you to think really,

really hard about what has happened and see if you can come up with a theory.”

he was talking to everyone, no just the girls. He stressed the ‘really’ part.

     “Fair.”

Amy said and raised her fist in the air. Her friends looked at her as she was a

total idiot. “What?” she knew pretty damn well ‘what’ but in her eyes it was

far more funnier to play dumb. They’d appreciate it if someone hadn’t died

yesterday or if they weren’t trapped in an abandoned house with no way out.

“Bad timing.” she thought.

    “We

can use our cell phones to talk to each other.” Mikey said. “They seem to work

when we’re calling people that are here.”

    “Ok.”

The first and only word Pete said the whole morning.

    “Lets

start exploring then!” Gerard went over to the hole with everyone following

him. He and the guys jumped in and went inside the tunnel leaving the girls

behind. “We should’ve brought torches or something like that. This place is

fucking dark!” he tripped every now and then but didn’t fall. They reached the

underground lake started starring at it aimlessly.

    “What

is there to explore?” Jepha asked the question everyone wanted to know the

answer to.

    “We

can start with the water.” Pete’s voice was cold as if his friends had betrayed

him and deserved nothing better. “We have to find out if that’s fish.” he

pointed at the silver thing moving in the water.

“How?” all eyes were now on Jepha and it didn’t take him long to read

their mind. “No way! I’m not going in there!”

    “Lets

play ‘scissors, rock, paper’. Whoever loses first goes in the water.” Gerard

suggested and they agreed a bit unsure if that was the right way. Jepha was the

only one with paper and he lost to the scissors everyone else had chosen.

“Fuck!” he breathed in for courage and took off his shirt. He dived into

the cold water and they watched as his body go deeper and deeper until they

could no longer see him.

    “Do you

think he’ll come back?” Gerard asked after a minute. “He’s been down there for

a long time.”

    “Only

for a minute. He’s a tough guy.” Mikey said more to himself than anything.

    “I

think that’s him.” Pete pointed at a shadow coming from the bottom of the water.

It got bigger and clearer until you could be completely sure it was Jepha. He

reached the surface gasping for air. “What did you find?”

“Nothing.” he said between breaths. “But now I can bug you about being

such chickens!” he laughed and they just glared at him.

    “Damn.

I really hoped we would find fish. Now we’ll ran out of food in a couple of

days.” Gerard leaned on the wall and cursed everything.

    “Need

a hand?” Mikey outstretched his hand towards Jepha to help him get out of the

water. He accepted it but just when he tried to get out something started

pulling him back. “I’m trying to help you! Stop pulling me!”

    “I’M

NOT!” he screamed in horror. He could feel something wrapping around his foot.

It was cold and slimy. It felt like a tentacle. “HELP ME!” Gerard was holding

onto Mikey and Pete was holding onto Gerard in desperate tries to pull him out.

Even their strength put together wasn’t enough to do the job. “NO! IT’S KILLING

ME! SAVE ME!” more tentacles attacked Jepha and covered his face. He could no

longer breath and was suffocating. He let got of Mikey and sank. He fought the

thing that was killing him but it was no use. It wasn’t long before his heart

stopped beating and the monster tore him limb by limb, violating his corpse.

“JEPHA!” Pete screamed terrified and almost jumped after him but the

others held him. “No! Let me go!”

“Pete! It’s no use! We have to get away from the water!” Gerard shook

him hard and then looked him in the eye. “He’s dead.” then they saw some of his

body parts floating on the surface of the water.

“Fuckfuckfuckfuck!” Mikey was having trouble breathing and was near to

having a panic attack. He was sweating and shaking. “Lets get out of here!” he

pleaded and than they ran as fast as they could. By the time they were in the

living-room they were panting for breath and sweating. “That thing killed him,

it killed him, man! Oh God I think I’m gonna be sick!” Gerard slapped him

across the face and told him to get a grip.

“Now is not the time to fucking panic!” he was

glaring at him. He was a control freak but no-one knew it. He hid it all the

time. “I know he’s dead, I was there too!” he yelled in his face. “Mikey! Look

at me!” Mikey hadn’t made direct eye contact during the whole fight but his

brother forced him to meet his hazel eyes. “I’m sorry.” he let go of him and

bit his lip. “I didn’t mean to yell at you.”

“What’s going on? Why are you yelling?” the girls came down the stairs.

“Jepha’s dead.” Pete said staring at his shoes. “He was killed in front

of us.”

    “What

do you mean he’s dead? How?” Emmy was so pale she looked dead.

    “We

went in the cave. We saw that silver thing again and thought we should dive in

and see if it’s fish.” Gerard started the story. “We played ‘scissors, rock,

paper’ to see who should go in the water. Jepha lost.” he frowned and felt like

it was his fault. He suggested playing that game without estimating the risks

properly. “When he tried to get out something pulled him back. We tried to help

him but it had…tentacles and it put them around his head. I think he couldn’t

breathe and let go of us. Then the thing took him deeper and after a minute we

saw his body parts floating in the lake. We got scared and ran away.” he looked

ashamed of that.

    “He…got

torn apart?” Emmy was almost crying and the others just stood silent.

    “No!

We have to get away from this place!” Mikey turned around and ran and his

friends did the same with no second thoughts. As soon as the last one of them

exited the tunnel Pete and Gerard blocked the door with a cupboard that was

placed in one of the corners of the living room. “We’re all gonna die! Fast! I

have to get out of this madhouse!” Mikey picked up a chair and threw it against

a window. Of course, it didn’t break. “What. The. Hell. Is. This. Place!” he

said between the many times he tried breaking the glass. Eventually he got

tired and leaned on the wall.

“Mikey, we won’t get out that way.” Amy put her hand on his shoulder

caringly.

    “Then

how?” he snapped at her and she took a step back in surprise. “How?” he wasn’t

angry anymore, he was hopeless.

   “I

think I know how.” Christina said firmly causing everyone to pay attention to

her words. “Remember the hole in the ceiling? The one, that the pedant made?”

they nodded beginning to understand where she was going, “Maybe we can go

through there!”

    “Lets

go see if we can.” Gerard went for the stairs excited that they had a chance of

leaving this hellhole.

    “Wait.”

Pete looked at all of them, “Two of our friends died mere minutes ago and what

do we do? We act like it’s no big deal. It was the same yesterday, when Patrick

was murdered!” he made them think and he was right. It seemed as if they had

gotten used to it and fast. The possibility of them losing their lives had made

them follow their instincts and think more about themselves, forgetting

everything else. “I can’t believe how little you care about people who would

probably die for you if they had to!”

“Oh my God” Amy realized what they had been

doing. “It’s true, guys. We should react differently. This thing is changing

us. We’ve become something selfish.”

    “But

we can’t just stand in one place and cry all day!” Gerard also had a point,

like always.

    “Shut

up Gerard! Stop being like this.” Mikey had had just enough of his brother’s

bossiness. “Can’t you pretend you’re not better, smarter than us?”

     “I am

trying to fucking save your asses!” he yelled in frustration. “And if you don’t

cooperate that won’t happen soon!” they were shortening the distance between

each other with every sentence. “I’m upset about Patrick, Jepha or Emmy but we

have to get out of here! They’re dead and if stay a little longer we’ll be dead

too. I don’t feel like dying now, Mikey!”

    “Stop

it!” Amy pushed them away from each other and glared at them both. “Talk about

brotherly love!” they had never seen her this angry before. She went up the

stairs and left them in silence.

    “It’s

all your fault she’s like that.” Mikey shoved him.

Leathermouth: Name: Leathermouth Instrument: All of them

RoXXXy: What is going on in the world of LEATHERMOUTH right now?
Steve-drums, Andrew-bass

RoXXXy: What is it like working with Skeleton Crew? Do you find it

easier to deal with a smaller, more intimate label like that?
Leathermouth: yeah they pay a hell of a lot more.

RoXXXy: Who are your biggest musical influences?
Leathermouth: each other hehe
Leathermouth: ask lars

RoXXXy: If you could work with any one artist or band (i.e. record

with, tour with, write with) who would it be?
Leathermouth: Ceasar the dog. sick growl.

RoXXXy: How much of a role does each member play in the writing of

“What’s happening?” Christina was banging on the windows as hard as she

could and they wouldn’t even get a crack. “We have to get out.”

    “Did

we try everything?” Emmy was biting on her nails from the stress.

    “All

doors leading outside, the windows, everything.” Mikey used his fingers to list

what they have checked. “Our cell phones aren’t working either.”

    “Hey,

look what I found!” Pete was in the hole looking at a door that was in front of

him. “Where do you think it goes?”

     “Lets

find out.” Jepha came down and opened the door. “It leads to a tunnel of some

sort.” It was dark and wet and they had to walk in a column. After a couple of

minutes they reached a huge place that looked like a cave and had a small lake

in it. Jepha had to stop in his tracks to prevent falling in and everyone

behind him bumped into the person in front of him, Gerard’s arm hurt like hell

when it collided with Amy’s back but he wouldn’t let it show. “Wow.” The water

was crystal clear but you couldn’t see much because of the lack of light. “Is

that fish over there?” he pointed at something that was shining silver, small

and swam in the water.

   “This

keeps getting weirder and weirder.” Gerard spoke and dipped his hand in the

water. He shivered from the cold and took off his black leather jacked and

shirt to wash off the blood from the wounds. He splashed some water at his face

and cleaned up his wound a little not using his left broken hand. “Do you think

there’s a way out of here?” he asked full of hope as he squeezed out the water

from his clothes. He’s worried gaze got lost somewhere in the distance that

wasn’t visible due to the darkness.

“There has to be.” everyone except Gerard turned their heads to Amy

giving her a look that said ‘what are you doing?’. “There’s always a way out.”

she hugged her boyfriend and kissed the tip of his nose giving him the much

needed comfort. He seemed distant and lost.

“Do you know what’s weird here?” Christina

stared at the water, “It’s dark but not too dark. We can see in here and

there’s no place for light to come from. How is that possible? And there are

ripples too.”

    “This

is creeping me out.” Pete headed back the tunnel quickening his pace with every

step he took until he was almost running. His friends didn’t follow him though.

They were too much deep in thought about the current situation.

     “We

won’t survive if we don’t get out.” Emmy broke the awkward silence. “We can go

without food for 41 days, fortunately we have water but we still can’t stay

trapped here for over a month. We don’t even know what going on.”

“Maybe it has something to do with the letter?” Mikey suggested rubbing

his eyes to chase away the tiredness that took him over. “Think about it. It

all began then. Patrick and Hayley left and short after Gerard broke his hand

and the doors disappeared.” it all made perfect sense.

    “You

have a point.” Amy said. “If I remember correctly the letter had our names in

it but mine and Heyley’s were missing. It had something about being innocent

enough. And then the writing on the ceiling. The first sentence was “The

innocent go”. What if Patrick and Heyley were the innocent and we’re the guilty?

But then why was my name missing?”

    “I got

confused.” Jepha was concentrating but it was all too much to take in so fast.

Then he heard the well-known sound his phone made when he got a message. “I

thought those didn’t work here?” he took it out and the minute he saw what was

sent to him all color drained from his face. “I-i-it can’t b-b-be!” he

stuttered.

    “Oh

my God!” Amy put a hand over her mouth. On the screen of his phone was an image

that she’d rather not seen. Patrick’s dead body lying somewhere in the woods

covered in blood and dirt. His eyes were empty and Heyley was crying over his

corpse. She was a mess too but still alive and unharmed. Her clothes were

covered in mud like she had tripped and fell while being chased. Amy was now

crying and sobbing into Gerard’s chest.

    The

others saw the picture and it made them sick. Mikey threw up from disgust.

Their friend was dead. Murdered. Patrick was always loved for his kindness. He

was the kind of person everyone would love but not anymore. All that was left

from him was his body covered in gashes, cuts and bruises. They were going to

remember him this way, not because they wanted to but because it was a scene

you couldn’t forget easily. His face, though lifeless, still reflected the

horror and torture he had been through. Jepha’s phone received another message

saying ‘you can’t run away. three cheers for sweet revenge’.

    “He’s

d-d-dead!” Amy sobbed out while Gerard wiped away her tears and consoled her by

caressing her soft hair.

    “How did

they take the picture? It’s so close to them and they’re not even noticing it.

And what the hell killed Patrick. Why did it leave Heyley alone?” Mikey got

more and more frustrated with each question left without an answer until his

rage was let out in the form of kicks and punches thrown at the cave’s walls.

His knuckles bled and his toes hurt. Finally Jepha and Emmy reacted and held

him aback before he could cause himself more needless pain. He fell on his

knees weeping.

“Mikey! Calm down! It’s gonna be ok! We’re gonna get the fuck out of

here! We won’t die!” Gerard shook his brother and looked him straight in the

eye. It hurt him to see such a close to him person breaking down into a mess in

a matter of a few minutes. His eyes were already bloodshot from the tears. “I

promise.” he whispered reassuringly.

    “How

do you know?” Mikey didn’t wait for an answer and pushed him out of his way and

ran away back in the house.

“Fuck!” Gerard cursed under his breath and ran his hand through his

jet-black hair. “Lets go back.” he stood up and stared at his reflection in the

water before he turned around and went into the tunnel. His friends followed

him quietly. Just before ten minutes he was the hopeless one and now he was the

strong one keeping the sane or at least trying to. The silence between them as

they walked was crushing them. They desperately needed someone to say

something, anything. “How much food do we have?

    “Just

enough for us to survive for three days.” Amy spoke slowly, “That’s how long we

were planning on camping.” then she remembered how they got themselves into

this mess.

    “So

we can survive for about month and a half then. We have that much time to save

ourselves. We can do it. It’s more than enough.” he breathed in and saw the light at the end

of the tunnel signaling them they were near to exit. Soon they were climbing

out of the hole in the living-room. Mikey was sitting on the sofa staring at the wall with a blank

expression and Pete was next to him with his face buried in his hands.

    “I

want to see the picture.” he mumbled. He was talking about Patrick. He knew.

“Pete, I think it would be better if you don’t look at it.” Christina

sat next to him.

    “I

have to. I must. He was my best friend Chrissy!” he screamed the last sentence

at the top of his lungs. Jepha bit him lip and passed him his phone. Pete gazed

at the horrible scene and his eyes watered. He rubbed his face and looked away.

“Who did this?”

    “We

don’t know.” Amy lowered her head. She wish she did know.

    “It’s

getting late, we should try and get some sleep.” Emmy suggested and her friends

nodded in agreement. They took of to their rooms to get ready to go to bed.

No-one spoke that much. They didn’t know what to say or do.

    Emmy

lied in her bed in Jepha’s arms. She was awake and couldn’t sleep at all. Too

many things had happened for a reason unknown. She thought about it. Tried to

figure it out. It was no use. There was no logic in the events. She got annoyed

and slowly removed Jepha’s arm from around her waist and got out of bed. Her

bear feet touched the floor and the cold ran through her body making her

shiver. She tiptoed, careful not to wake up her beloved. She closed the door

and went down the stairs. She was a bit scared from the dark and kept turning

her head to check if someone or something was following her.

She went into the kitchen and poured herself a

glass of water. She leaned on the counter and took a sip. She stared out the

window. It was a beautiful night. You could see all the stars sparkling in the

dark night sky. The fact she couldn’t even go out for walk made her desire it

more. She wanted to be free from this nightmare. It was choking her.

    She

heard someone’s steps coming closer to the kitchen and froze. The hairs on her

neck stood up from fear. She didn’t have the guts to turn and see who it was.

What if it was Patrick’s killer? She didn’t want to die. Not in that way, not

here, not now.

“Emmy?” a sigh of relief escaped her lips as she recognized Amy’s sweet

voice. She turned to face her and smiled.

    “You

scared the shit out of me!”

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to.” she took a sit on the table. “Can’t sleep?”

“Yeah.” she sat next to her and yawned. “I want to. But I can’t.” all

her previous thoughts about Patrick’s death, the letter, the writing on the

ceiling and the tunnel came back and she was ready to cry. “Patrick’s dead.”

she said it as if she had just realized it and it hurt so much.

     “He’s

at a better place now, I hope.” Amy hugged her as she her tears began to stain

her tired face.

“Guys?” Christina’s whispers made them look at her standing at the door

of the kitchen. “Are you two ok?” she asked worried and went over to them. “I

couldn’t sleep and heard you walking down the hallway.”

“Yeah,” Emmy wiped away her tears and stopped sobbing, “we’ll be fine.”

she graced her with a fake smile.

“Today was scary.” Christina said out of the blue.

    “You

almost got crushed by that pedant.” Amy remembered. “Speaking of that, you

seemed disappointed then. Why?” she was getting curious now.

“Well,” she answered her with a spark in her eyes, “I think I wanted

Mikey to save me.”

    “I

knew it!” her two friends said in unison. “You like him, don’t you?”

    “I

think he’s cute.” she rolled her eyes just to escape their gaze. “But I don’t

think he feels the same way about me.”

    “Are

you kidding me?” Emmy laughed. “He’s had a crush on you ever since he saw you.

Haven’t you noticed? He stares at you when he thinks no-one’s looking, he

blushes when you touch him, he’s always asking Gerard to ask Amy if you liked

him.”

    “Yeah

but I keep telling him I won’t. Mikey’s a bit shy with girls.” Amy added.

    They

talked like that for about an hour before they felt they were too tired to go

on and went to bed. They fell asleep a lot faster that before. Amy kissed

Gerard while he was still sleeping before she went to bed and he mumbled

something. She giggled quietly and doze off soon after.

Unlike them Pete was having trouble sleeping. His best friend was dead

and he was in this house that probably wanted to destroy them all. How could he

sleep? How could anyone else? He felt like he was the only one that really

missed Patrick and really care. They wouldn’t be like that if they cared. He

was alone in his room. No-one there to give him comfort. He could go to

Christina. No, she was in the same room with Mikey. He liked her but she had

her attention on Mikey all the time. They were perfect for each other, why

should he stand between them? He’s train of thought took him to the a place he

hated. He started thinking it was all losing its point.

ok i have NOT left my other story. i just wanted to post this one. it's a gift for Amy (poeticjustice) so enjoy! comment and buzz please!

xoxoxo

   The

van was packed with laughing teenagers and popcorn being thrown everywhere. Amy

attacked everyone with popcorn and especially Mikey. Emmy was eating what was

thrown at her and she fed some to her boyfriend, Jepha, who gladly accepted

eating from her hand. Patrick was dozing off to sleep. He could fall asleep

anywhere, anytime. Heyley was getting crushed by him for he was on her and she

couldn’t really move. Gerard, Amy’s boyfriend, was driving and he had his eyes

on the road. He took driving very seriously ever since that accident. He

thought about it every day and he still felt guilty about it.

*flashback*

He was drunk and he didn’t see that other car.

It was dark and pouring but that was no excuse. By the time he hit the breaks

it was too late. The other car took a turn to avoid the collision. It crashed

into a tree. He didn’t get hurt but that woman wasn’t that lucky. When he saw

her bloody body it was in an unnatural position and she wasn’t breathing. She

had hit her head badly on the steering wheel. He panicked and ran to his car.

He drove over the speed limit all the way to his apartment. The woman died and

he knew it was all his fault. He hadn’t been drinking ever since.

*end of flashback*

    “Stop

throwing popcorn at me!” Mikey yelled so that everyone would hear him but they

ignored his pleads. He had put his hands over his face and had his back turned

at them to use it as a shield. “I’m not cleaning the van!”

    “I

think I got some in my hat.” Patrick took his hat off to clean it and everyone

gasped. “What?”

    “Oh

my fuckin God Patrick! You took it off!” Heyley pointed at his shiny hair and

smiled. “We were beginning to think you had a bold spot or something! Between,

what shampoo are you using?” she petted his head and he laughed.

    “It’s

a secret!”

   “What

secret? You just never shower at all.” Pete got a punch in the arm for that.,

“Okay, you shower ONCE in a while.” he said ‘once’ very slowly to add to it..

    “I’ll

save you Mikey!” Christina jumped on him and hugging him. He was unprepared for

the weight of her body and he fell over. She was lying on top of him laughing

hard and he was blushing like a mad man.

“Those two should be together.” Emmy whispered in Jepha’s ear and he

nodded in agreement. “He obviously likes her.”

    “Hey

guys, check the map and tell me which way to go!” Gerard stopped at the fork in

the road waiting for them to check. They were going camping which was Pete’s

idea. “Come on! Work faster! Left or right?”

“We’re looking! I can’t find this on the map! Aren’t there any signs?”

Emmy turned the map around to give it to him so he could look on his own.

“Maybe we can ask for directions?” Jepha wasn’t really the type of guys

that hate asking for help and it seemed their only option.

   “Who?

We haven’t even seen a car for one hour.” Amy got off the car and looked at the

surroundings. “The right way leads to a forest and I think I see a big house on

the side of the left one.”

     “I

bet there are people there. We can ask them.” Gerard’s face lit up with hope

and he started the van. His girlfriend got in and they left.

    “Lets

go back! Please!” Heyley didn’t have good feeling about the house at all, it

was scary in her opinion.

    “We

don’t have much of a choice.” Patrick didn’t feel like going either but

everyone else wanted to go there.

    Soon

they were in front of the house. It looked old and the white paint was coming

off the walls. The windows were dirty and the grass in the yard hadn’t been

mowed in ages. The fence was falling apart. It didn’t seem so vacant before.

Pete knocked on the door even thought he didn’t think there was anyone inside.

Nothing happened and he shrugged his shoulders at the others who were still in

the van. Just as he did the door opened by itself behind him. He turned around

scared and walked a few steps back tripping over on something.

    “Go

inside!” Mikey yelled with his hands in front of his mouth forming a tube.

  “No

way! This house is giving me the creeps. You go!” his friend thought for a

while but Gerard whispered “chicken” and that made him go. “What’s the matter

Mikey? You don’t look so good.” he gave him a dirty look and that clearly

showed his thoughts.

“Maybe all of us should go in.” Christina got of the van and walked over

to the door. “What are you waiting for?” the others fallowed her unsure if they

wanted to. The furniture was old and there was a strange smell in the air.

Spider webs and dust were covering almost everything. “This place sucks.” she

saw a rat chewing on a book’s cover.

    “I

think whoever lived here was a hero from the war. Look at all these

photographs! He had a family. I wonder what happened to them.” Gerard blew away

the dust layering one of the photos on a coffee table. He felt a chill ran down

his spine as he touched it and he let go of it immediately dropping it on the

floor. “Okay, maybe it’s time to go now.”

“Yeah, something here ain’t right.” Pete got that feeling of being

watched and was first to leave the place. He walked to the van and got inside

but the feeling wouldn’t go away.

    His

friends followed him. “Uh oh. Something’s wrong with the van. It won’t start.”

Gerard had had just enough and this was getting worse and worse by the minute.

“Great!” sarcasm was just Jepha’s way to deal with anger.

“Well, we can always set the camp here!” Christina’s try to cheer them

up didn’t exactly work. “Mikey help me a little one this!”

    “Oh

um…” he was caught off guard and cleared his throat to win time, “She’s right?”

he said it more like a question than a statement and just then it started

raining.

    “What

is it today? Friday the thirteenth?” Gerard’s hair quickly get wet stuck to his

head.

    “Hey

we can use the house! It doesn’t look like someone else needs it.” Christina

was waiting for her idea to be rejected but much to her surprise they agreed.

    “I

hate not having a choice.” Pete mumbled and took his bags inside. “Do you think

there are bedrooms here? It’s pretty big.” he left his things on the floor and

went upstairs to see if there was any room comfortable enough to sleep in.

“There’s nothing on the second floor.” he yelled so that everyone could hear.

“I’m going I’ll check the third floor.”

    “Does

this place have a fireplace?” Heyley had her arms around her body to keep her

warm, “I’m wet and it’s the middle of September. I don’t feel like getting sick

right now.” she opened the door to another room. “Strange, this place is

cleaner than the other rooms” Patrick followed her inside to see what was she

talking about. “There’s no dust, no webs, “she opened the drawers, “and there’s

even food here. But I don’t think it’s eatable.”

    “What

the hell is this place?” he saw a letter under the table and bent over to pick

it up. “This is addressed to us! All of our names are on it. Only Amy and yours

are missing.” he was getting really scared and almost wanted to run.

    “Open

it!” he handed it to her and she did it and read out loud “Only the innocent

with survive. Are you innocent enough?” she dropped it and left the room fast.

“Someone knows we’re here! Patrick, we have to leave!” on her way out she

bumped into Amy and they both fell on the floor.

    “Who

gave you license to walk?” she rubbed his head in pain from the collision with

the table behind him.

    “We

have to go, NOW!” Heyely got up quickly and started shaking with fear. “This

place is a madhouse!” she handed her the letter. “Read it.”

“Where did you find this?” the color from her face drained as she read

it.

“It was on the floor in

the kitchen. How did they know?” Patrick joined the conversation and helped her

up. “Tell the others.”

    “It’s

impossible someone wrote this for us! We didn’t even plan to be here.”

    Later

on they told everyone about the letter but they just thought it was weird and

not that scary. Heyley and Patrick wee the only ones that took it seriously and

they had their bags ready to go.

“Maybe one of us is making a joke. It’s not funny though.” Gerard looked

at Amy suspiciously. “And we all know who could’ve done it.”

“Don’t look at me like that. I have nothing to do with it this time.”

Amy held up her palms in front of her defensively.

“You said that when suddenly the water in the

shower went ice cold last week.” Pete wasn’t going to forget that easily.

“Well, that might have been partly my fault,” she giggled quietly to

herself, “But I’m innocent now.” he looked at her angrily and shook his head.

    “Do

whatever you want. I’m leaving.” Heyley rolled her eyes and left with Patrick

behind her. It was no longer raining but they had a lot walking to do.

“Patrick? Thanks for supporting me.”

“Anytime.” He held her close to keep them both warm.”

    “Do

you think we should leave too?” Emmy was looking out the window at the

direction in which her friends had left.

    “No,

we can’t always do whatever they ask us to.” Jepha went up the stairs dragging

along his suitcase. “Come with me, Pete says there’s a bedroom on the fifth

floor.”

    “The

fifth? Why would anyone put a bedroom all the way there?” she followed him to

their temporary bedroom. “It’s nice.” the room was all in white and most

importantly it had a bed.

    “Woah

check out the paintings!” Christina was on the fifth floor with everyone else

except for Emmy and Jepha. She was gazing at the pieces of art on the wall.

“I’m beginning to like it here.” she stood right in the middle of the room.

    Mikey

didn’t like the way the pedant on the ceiling above her was shaking slightly.

She started jumping with joy when they told her she could stay in that room and

it made the pedant shake more. He knew it was going to fall but he froze in his

place and his feet wouldn’t listen to his mind. And it happened. But just

before that Pete pushed Christina out of its way saving her.

    “Are

you okay?” he asked.

“Yeah, thanks.” she was confused and a little bit disappointed. She

hugged Pete thought at which he smiled. “Well, I guess I won’t be staying here.” she

gazed at the hole in the ceiling. It was big enough for a human to go through

it.

“Yeah.” Emmy picked up some of the pieces and watched them sparkle in

the light. “This place is falling apart.”

    “What

was that?” Mikey blurted out as a sound of something falling down. “Where did

Gerard go?” his brother wasn’t anywhere around him and this is when he got

scared. They all came down the stairs almost running. In the middle of the

living-room’s floor on

the first floor there was a big hole. “What happened?” he looked in the hole

and saw Gerard lying at the bottom of it unconscious and covered in blood.

“Gerard!” Mikey jumped next to him and checked his pulse. “He’s alive.” Amy was

now kneeling next to him on the verge of tears.

“He doesn’t look too good.” she said stoking

his cheek careful not to hurt him. He slowly opened his eyes and winced in

pain. “Gerard!”

“Everything hurts.” he mumbled sitting up and holding onto his head.

“Ah!” he screamed as he tried to move his hand. “I think I broke it.”

    “How

did you fall?” Jepha said looking upon him.

“There was something written on the ceiling and I stood on top of the

table to read it but it broke and I fell.” Everyone looked up and saw what he

was talking about.

    “The

innocent go?” Emmy read the first line.

“Revenge is a dish best served cold. Don’t leave before the dessert.”

Amy continued.

“There’s a traitor here.” they were taking turns and Gerard came next.

    “The

five turns around?” Jepha was getting scared but he didn’t want to admit it.

    “Make

your choice before we do.” Christina didn’t know who ‘we’ was but held her

tongue.

    “No

way out for the sinners.” Mikey was rather whispering the last sentence.

“That makes no sense at all.” Amy turned her

attention back on her boyfriend. “Can you walk?” he nodded and stood up but his

hand was in a weird position. “I’ll go take some medicine from the van.” she

said.

“How?” Mikey was facing the wall where the front door used to be.

“There’s no door.” he was in a denial.

“What?” Jepha kicked the place where the door used to be only to see the

hard way that there was nothing more than a wall there.

     “The

windows won’t open or break!” Pete had tried those options. “We can’t get out.”

He’s eyes were wide with fear and his body was shaking.

I love you guys

“Don’t look down, don’t look down, don’t look down!” Frank said under

his breath scared to death with his eyes shut. His arms hurt from

hanging on for so long. He had tried climbing up several times with no

success. “Oh God!” he said while looking down after all, “I’ve got

something on my shoe!”. He got bored from that pretty soon and

something else which grabbed his attention, a necklace around the

statue’s neck. “Hey, is anybody still there? I found something!” he

yelled.
“Yeah, I’m here,” he recognized Faith’s voice, “what did you find?”.
“It’s a necklace, on the statue. I think it’s made from silver and it has a little golden rose in the middle!” he explained.
“Any ideas what it could be for?”
“I don’t know but it’s pretty. Is Brendon or Mikey coming?”
“Yeah, Mikey just came. We’ll be there to get you in a second.”
“Tell Gerard that when I get to him I’ll kick his ass!”
“I heard that!” Gerard yelled back.
After Faith and Pallavi flew to him and returned him safely on the

balcony he started chasing Gerard. His victim run in circles around

their friends and due to his longer legs he was faster. Eventually

Frank threw the necklace at his head. Gerard fell down flat on his face

and after a few seconds he said “that hurts”. He got up and took the

jewel in his hand. It had a drop of blood on the stone.
“You made me bleed, asshole!” he gazed at the necklace as the drop disappeared. “Great. Now my blood went missing.”
“Let me see that!” Brendon outstretched his hand towards him and took it. “This thing is magic.”
“How do you know that?” Mikey was amazed by his skills in magic for the tenth time this evening.
“It says so here.” He pointed at a small sign on the necklace that read

“magic”. “I don’t know what it does but I think it’s harmless.”
“Then can I wear it just for tonight?” Pallavi asked full of hope.

“It’s beautiful.” Brendon nodded and gave it to her. She put it on

happily and went inside. One her way she turned her head and said “I

gotta get back to Jack, Bert and all the other pigs in clothes.”.

Sooner than she wanted to, she was in her seat on the separated table.

It didn’t seem like anyone there cared if she was there or not.
“Hey, aren’t you having fun?” Jack finally noticed Pallavi wasn’t the happiest person there.
“Yeah. It’s my dream come true.” there was absolutely no emotion in the sentence but he didn’t say anything.
“It’s time!” Bert announced rising from his seat when the clock hit

eleven. “Everyone, follow me!” he started walking and his guests

quickly went after him. “Let Halloween begin!” his voice echoed

throughout the huge room as he opened a big door hidden behind a heavy

curtain. “Now, remember, you MUST come back before dawn or else you’ll

be stuck up there where no-one can see you and you can’t touch

anything. Buh bye!” the people had already left and that included

Pallavi, Faith, Gerard, Mikey, Frank, Bob, Ray and Brendon. Only Bert

and some of his servants stood in the tower. “I hate cleaning up after

the party.” he sighted and picked up a bottle, “They think I have

slaves for this but if their brain wasn’t dead they’d figure out the

fact the stupid slaves are also out on Halloween!” he put all of the

garbage he had collected in a plastic bag and left it by the others.

“Igor!” he saw his personal hunchback(all evil people had a hunchback

servant named Igor, he wasn’t too happy about him but it was fashion,

sacrifices had to be made) servant eating the leftovers which disgusted

him, “Put that down! What do you think we feed the flying monkeys with?

Oh don’t you dare make that face! You know it won’t work with your

physical appearance. And bring out the vacuum cleaner. God, where the

hell have they been walking? There is always mud and sand everywhere.”

he took the vacuum cleaner out of Igor’s filthy hands and plugged it

in. He started cleaning with Igor secretly laughing his ugly ass off in

the background. “What are you laughing at? Haven’t you seen a man

cleaning before? Start washing the windows. Someone got them dirtied

with…with…what the hell is that?”
“I believe that’s-” the hunchback began explaining but he was cut off.
“Ewww! Don’t tell me! I don’t think I wanna know.” Bert had a lot to

do. Ball rooms don’t clean themselves you know. “So, is there any new

gossip?” he did that gay thing where you put your hand on your waist

and flick your hair.
“Yes!” the ‘s’ was turned into a hissing noise, “That girl, the pretty one with Jack? She’s an angel!”
“No way! Where did you hear that?” he really got into it.
“Oh puh-lease! You could see the scars from where her wings were. Magic

surgery ain’t that good to hide those. And I heard someone saying that

Gerard way’s girlfriend was one too!”
“Gerard Way? GERARD WAY?!” he yelled and broke a wine glass near him.
“Master! Don’t yell, you know how strong your voice is and we’re

running short on wine glasses.” Igor picked up the pieces from the

floor and threw them away.
“I suppose.” he sighed. “But you don’t know how much I hate that guy!”

his gaze wondered out of the window as he dived in memories. We used to

be alive together. It all began when we were in kindergarten. Of course

I wasn’t a boss of the Under world back then. Nothing could stop him.

He was such an asshole. He poured my milk all over me! And his friend,

Frank, he wasn’t any better. That idiot ran around all day with tattoos

drawn with paint on his body. He even poked me in the eye one time! Do

you know how much it hurt I wore glasses for 2 months. But of all the

things they’ve done to me I think the worse was when they united. They

told everyone I never shower and wear diapers. Just because I don’t

look clean it doesn’t mean I’m dirty! I can’t believe they are black

angels now.”
“Are you going to kill him, master?”
“No. I’ll kill their friends.”
“Aren’t they dead?”
‘As you said earlier his girlfriend and Pallavi are very much alive.”

he laughed evilly throwing his head back, “Laugh with me. I sound bad

when I’m the only one laughing.” Igor joined him gladly, he had

practiced his evil laughs.
“How are you going to do that, master?”
“I’ll call the Doomed crew. No wait, you’ll call them.” Igor took out a

cell phone and dialed, what he thought, was Doomed crew’s number.
“Gerard Way speaking, who is this?” Gerard’s voice came from the

speaker and Bert made a face as his servant quickly hang up on him and

re-dailed the number.
“Doomed crew, what can I do for you?” a woman was talking into the phone.
“Hello, I’m Igor the 34th , could you kill a person for me?”
“Okay, we’ll need a name and location if that’s possible.”
“Faith and Pallavi and they’re in the Land of the living but they’ll be coming back to the Under world around 4am or so.”
“Last names?”
“Uh, I don’t know but they’re with Gerard Way and Frank Iero, whom I believe work with you kinda.”
“Yeah I know them. Okay, I have it all in my computer. Are you sure you

want to kill them, because we could trap them in the Land of the living

or something.” She was being very polite.
“Yeah…that’d be nice.” Bert was signaling him to say it.
“Thank you for using Doomed crew’s services! Have a nice Halloween!”
“Yeah, bye.”

“Trick or treat!” a kid dressed like Harry Potter screamed at an old lady as she opened the door.
“Oh what a lovely boy!” she started hugging him and he wasn’t too happy about it.
“Trick. Or. Treat.” he repeated slowly with frustration.
“Why are you all alone? Where are your friends?” the lady wouldn’t stop

with the annoying talking and the toddler had had enough.
“AVADA KEDAVRA!” he pointed his plastic wand at her face.
“Oh dear. I don’t think I have that kind of candy.” The boy gave up and

sighed. He knew it was a lost cause and walked away with his head low

dragging his bag.
“Don’t you just love Halloween?” Frank was full of joy because of his favorite celebration.
“Happy birthday man!” Bob hit him lightly on the shoulder.
“Yeah, happy birthday!” Faith hugged him.
“Group hug!” Gerard threw his arms in the air and the rest of them did the same.
“Aww guys! You make me feel all fuzzy inside!” Frank being squished between them and he loved it.
“Uncle Fankie!” someone screamed and they all turned to see Evelin.
“Hi there!” he hugged her. “So how’s your holiday here?”
“Look what I did!” she showed him a beating human heart in her that was still covered in blood in her hand. “It’s fresh.”
“I see. Why’d you do it?”
“I dunno.” she ran away singing a song she had made up.

I think I did something very bad
I made him bleed and took his heart
I don’t think they will notice
But a shrink would know this
Maybe they’ll find the bullet
And I’ll say I didn’t do it
Oh the clock goes ‘tick-tock’
Oh the clock goes ‘tick-tock’
Well the dark doesn’t scare me
And in fact I feel better
I just hate the doctors
They’re lying, they’re imposters
And the police men are the same
They don’t know who to blame

“She has a song for it?” Faith asked completely shocked.
“Yeah, it’s not really the first time.” Pete explained scratching the

back of his head. “You see, she’s an angel of death and she died really

young. She can’t make the difference between right and wrong and I have

to look after her. Unfortunately, I can’t always stop her and she has

this urge to kill.” then a car crashed in a tree behind them, “Oh did I

mention she causes disasters?” the car burst into flames and there was

a lot of bystanders screaming and panicking.
